I said the following when I was 17 on a large forum where each member was sharing his or her insights and morsels of wisdom collected over the years. I still believe it to my very core…

“To all of you who are saying you fucked up, you must realize that complacency is what kills most people’s dreams. You become satisfied enough with what you have and put your own desires in the back seat because you can’t find the motivation and passion to pursue what you want to become.

It’s a sad state of affairs when you see someone talking past tense at the potential they had. Your potential doesn’t leave you; you just begin to ignore it over time. Many people don’t see past their “failures” and say to themselves that they can’t try anymore because they’ll just fail. They don’t realize that the more you fail, the more successful you will be; you learn from your past mistakes and misgivings. Complacency is a disease.

It literally feels painful when I wake up and feel like today is just going to be another day; a part of my life’s systematic little cycle. I thrive on personal growth and the growth of others and feel compelled to discover my potential by helping others unleash their own.

Angel Strata is my project. My outlet for creativity and philanthropy. My vision for changing the world. My passion.

The idea is simple. There are brilliant minds that will not be tapped because of particular socioeconomic circumstances outside of their control. Kids who aren’t being provided the tools necessary for amazing growth, creatively and academically. There are forests wasting away in the wake of human destruction and ash from natural fires.

Every item sold by Angel Strata, be it a tshirt, poster, or necklace, contributes at least 40% of the revenue generated towards such causes. Building libraries for children to expand their horizons; planting trees to give dead forests new life; and hopefully giving underprivileged artists an outlet to get their work seen so their visions can be shared.
